The full form of GRE is –Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a 3hr 45min examination that’s used to assess the suitability of applicants for graduate & business schools across the globe to test their – level study in many different subject areas. It is a standardized test conducted by ETS (Educational Testing Services) ETS. TI Abroad specializes in their coaching for GRE.

GRE test is available in two formats. They are GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test. The GRE test syllabus is different for both formats. The difference in both formats is reflected in the GRE test pattern. Also both the tests use different yardsticks to evaluate the candidate’s ability. While the GRE General Test is scored on a scale of 130 -170, the Subject Tests are scored on a 200 -990 scale. The trainers at TI Abroad make it easy for students.

GRE General Test – measures a candidate’s Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Critical thinking & Analytical Writing skills.

GRE Subject Test – evaluates a candidate’s knowledge & expertise in specific field of study. The Subject Test is meant for candidate’s who have extensive knowledge in one of these seven disciplines:-

GRE Exam – It’s the most commonly required admission test for graduate school—much like the SAT & ACT, the GRE exam is a board assessment of your Critical thinking, Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning & Quantitative Reasoning skills – all skills are developed over the course of many years.

Taking the GRE test – can help you pursue graduate or business school – nearly 1 out of 4 GRE (R) test takers take the test a second time & most improve their score. The test is also the only admissions test with the score select (R) option, which lets you decide which scores to send to schools.

GRE scores –Three are reputed on the GRE General Test: A Verbal Reasoning score is reputed on a 130-170 score scale. In 1- point increments.

A Quantitative Reasoning score is reputed on a 130 – 170 score scale, in 1 – point increments.

An Analytical Writing score is reputed on a 0 – 6 score level, in half – point increments.

GRE scores are accepted by most of the top graduate level schools for Masters Degree programs (like the popular Master of Science degree MS in USA) GRE is a standardized test that is accepted for admission to various disciplines at many graduate & business schools across the globe. It is available at about 700 test centers in more than 160 countries. You can take the test once every 21 days, up to five times within any continuous rolling 12 – month period (365 days) & dates are available all around the year. This applies even if you cancelled your scores on a test taken previously. However, before you register for GRE make sure that seats are available on that date. There is a specific GRE Eligibility Criteria.
