France is one of the top three study destinations for international students, and studying there is a unique experience, let alone its rich culture and thriving student life. France has century-old universities, which offer excellent education in art, innovation, science, and technology. French Universities offer diverse courses, some of which are Management, Pure Sciences, Engineering, and Philosophy.

While gaining admission into a French University it is generally expected to have a level of command of the French language, corresponding to B1/B2 in the European Language Passport. While entering the country the following documents (all /some) would be mandatory:

• A Campus France authorization
• A copy of your passport
• A passport-sized photo
• Copies of past exam transcripts and graduation diplomas
• A copy of your European health card (for EU students)
• Civil liability certificates
• A cover letter
• Attested copies of X, XII & Graduate Degree (if applicable), Mark Sheets including Backlogs (Re-sits)
• Evidence of English Language proficiency e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
• Standardized Tests e.g. GMAT, GRE (where necessary for the program)
• Two academic references
How much does it cost to study in France?
• 170 euros per year for Bachelor's (Licence) programs,
• 243 euros per year for Master's programs,
• 601 euros per year in engineering courses in at certain institutions,
• 380 euros per year for Doctorate (Ph.D.) programs.

There are two main intakes in France for international students, but the September intake is given more importance, January is known as the spring intake, however, both intakes are given equal importance.
